On August 24th, , 2020, PowerChina Guizhou Engineering Co., Ltd. received the Notification of Award, and successfully won the bid for Section II of General Construction Contract of Qingzhou Phase III 500 MW Offshore Wind Power Project in Yangjiang of Guangzhou Province by China Huadian Corporation Ltd., with accepted contract amount of 2.036 billion yuan, which was a good start for Integrated Energy Branch in the market development.

The offshore wind power project site is located in the sea area south of Shaba Town, Yangxi County, Yangjiang, Guangdong Province, with an offshore distance of approximately 55 kilometers, a water depth of 41 meters to 46 meters and a site area of approximately 81 square kilometers. The proposed installed capacity of the project is 500 MW, and the estimated total investment amount of the project is about 10.2 billion yuan. After the project is completed and put into operation, it is estimated that the annual generating capacity will be about 2.089 billion kWh, and the annual on-grid power will be about 1.49 billion kWh..
